GETTING THE MOST OUT OF YOUR CAKE

STEP 1

Remove all decorations. Lightly score equal sections across the top of the cake.

STEP 2

Hold a cake board against the cake for support. Slice down the first score.

STEP 3

Lie this first slice flat. Cut again horizontally in half.

STEP 4

Cut vertically into even servings to your preferred size (ideally 1-2” or 3-5cm thick).

STEP 5

Each serving should have two layers of cake with filling in between.
